a nice frosty beer anyone?

Dan installed a keg in our old fridge in the garage this weekend.
The door has a tap on the outside, so all you have to do is put your glass under the tap and you get an ice cold beer anytime you want.

I have the best girlfriends ever! We always have such a great time together, no matter what we are doing.

Dan's company (verizon wireless) is a big sponsor of the Golden State Warriors. He occasionally gets free tickets to games but he usually has to bring a co-worker or one of his employees.

On Wednesday night though I finally got to go with him.

We had AMAZING seats! We were courtside in the second row. It was great. We got special parking, got access to a special "courtside club" bar and even had waiters come take our drink/food orders from our seats during the game so we didn't have to get up.

The best part....the warriors won! It was a great night.

Geek Squad

While we were at my Oma's house in Chicago two weeks ago, Dan and my little niece Kyley were both sitting at the kitchen table while the rest of us were chatting away. I snapped this picture because they are both little techy dorks...it's sooo cute!

Kyley couldn't get enough of using my netbook and loved when Dan showed her things on his cell phone.

wedding fun

My cousin Coreen got married on Saturday to her boyfriend John in Illinois. Dan and I flew out to go to the wedding and we had such a great time!

My whole family (except my sisters, nieces, and mom) live in Illinois and it was so much fun hanging out with them at the wedding.

I had such a great time spending the last 5 days in Chicago!

I felt liked I've gained 20 pounds eating and drinking my way through the CIty...of course I couldn't pass up my all time two favorite foods I've missed since moving to California -

A Whirlwind Couple of Weeks

Just to let you know how much of a "whirlwind" it's been...I am currently updating my blog from 10,000 feet in the air...aboard Delta flying towards Atlanta.

Last week, Dan and I went to Chicago to attend my cousin's wedding. THe wedding was on Saturday but Dan and I decided to stay a few extra days and spend the night downtown in the City on Tuesday/Wednesday before joining my family in various suburbs in Illinois.

It was such a great trip! Excellent weather while we were in the city, so much fun hanging out with my family, and visiting places I remember as a kid growing up in Illinois.

We got home last night (Sunday) and this morning at 6:30am I headed to the airport again for a week long business trip to Atlanta.

I miss my own bed!
